According to reports, kit manufacturing company Adidas are threatening to rip up their deal with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), because of the recent controversy engulfing the football house.
Nigeria risk facing a sanction from FIFA, after Alhaji Aminu Maigari and his executive board were sacked last week by a court. Maigari’s removal was endorsed by the Extra-Ordinary General Assembly of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), which took place at the Bolingo Hotels and Towers in Abuja on Saturday.
Sources in the Glass House have hinted that the German kit-making giants have already suspended its contract with the federation and barred all Nigeria’s national teams from donning their kits till further notice.
FIFA has already set July 8 as deadline for the NFF to sort out its troubles or face possible ban.
