Brazilian attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho has reportedly chosen his Barcelona shirt number as his close to completing a transfer move away from Liverpool.
The Catalan outfit are desperate to get their man in January after seeing three previous in the summer rejected but are understood to have finally relented and will allow the 25-year-old Liverpool star to leave for Camp Nou this month.
According to Spanish Don Balon claims that the former Inter Milan player has chosen to wear the No7 shirt currently worn by Arda Turan as the Turkey international has struggled to shine since arriving from Atletico Madrid in January 2015 and he expected to leave this month to search for a new club.
The Premier League and La Liga sides are said to be holding meetings this week in order to agree on financial terms, with Liverpool demanding at least £133m for the Brazil international including a significant amount of cash up front.
Coutinho has scored 12 goals and created eight more in his 20 appearances for the Reds this season.
