Megan Fox, star of the modern Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie series, is a Mortal Kombat fan.
A couple of years back, we saw her play Mortal Kombat 9 in a MTV news interview, and she recently brought up the classic fighting game franchise again in a recent discussion with CinePop.
Talking about the new TMNT film, Fox was asked if there were any super heroes in particular that she’d enjoy playing on the big screen.
Though she didn’t quite have an answer for that, she did have a video game role at the ready.
“I’ve thought of Kitana from Mortal Kombat, if they ever make that movie again. I always loved her with the blades and the fans.”
Not long ago, we learned that Saw director James Wan was brought on board to direct a Mortal Kombat remake.
Now that he’s currently in the midst of making the new Aquaman film, however, it might be a while before we hear anything on the MK front.
It’s always a treat seeing big-time stars mentioning our beloved fighting game series in the limelight. Especially when it comes in the form of areal-life Hadouken.
