Olota Of Ota, Oba Moshood Is Dead

According to reports by our source, the Olota of Ota, Oba Moshood Oyede, is dead.

It was gathered that the Ogun state first class traditional ruler who spent 19 years on the throne, died at University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan following protracted illness, family.

He will be buried today

A palace source reportedly said residents would stay off the streets between the hours of 11pm till dawn when the final passage rites of the deceased is in progress.

His rites were expected to last for seven days, while residents would be expected to abide by the rules guiding the funeral rites of a monarch of his reputation.
