Dream Team coach Samson Siasia is finding it difficult to decide to take to the upcoming Olympics.
The national U-23 team qualified for the summer competition after winning the U-23 African Nations Cup late last year and are permitted by competition rules to pick three over-aged players.
Despite using a particular team last year, Siasia has insisted that he would shake things up as he seeks global dominance after winning silver in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
According to the Vanguard, Siasia is looking to pick “John Obi Mikel and Odion Ighalo, two players from the Premier League, and also goalkeeper Victor Enyeama, who is a strong candidate”.
It was also indicated that Siasia is looking to “other Eagles regular like Ogenyi Onazi, Godfrey Oboabona, Ahmed Musa and Aaron Samuel” who “are also reported to be targeting a place in the Rio Games”.
Nigeria won silver in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and famously won gold at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
